When we encounter server partition space shortage, the best method is to resize server partition. After running the partition manager server, we will see the following main interface:
The main interface shows there is no unallocated space on the disk. If we want to extend system partition namely C: partition, we can shrink F: partition to release unallocated space, and then use the unallocated space to extend system partition. To shrink F: partition, please select F: partition and click "Move/Resize" button to enter the next interface:
Drag triangles on both edges of the partition handle to shorten the handle to shrink F: partition, and then click "OK" to go back to main interface. Then, we can see an unallocated space adjacent to system partition. At this time, please select the system partition and click "Move/Resize" button to enter the following interface:
Drag the right triangle backwards to lengthen the partition handle, thus extending system partition. Then, click "OK" to go back to the main interface again. At last, click "Apply" to perform extension.
If you also want to manage Windows partition better, you can choose this partition manager for Windows server since Windows built-in disk management tool is unable to accomplish good Windows partition management. And you can download it from http://www.partitionmanagerserver.com.
